The following documents are required to obtain an Import Export Code (IEC):
1. PAN Card of the Business/Applicant:
A copy of the Permanent Account Number (PAN) card of the business or the individual applying for the IEC.
2. Business Address Proof:
o Rent Agreement/Lease Deed or Ownership Documents for the registered office.
o No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the landlord (if the office is rented).
3. Bank Account Details:
o A copy of the bank statement or a canceled cheque from a current account with an authorized bank.
o Bank Certificate or Passbook Copy showing the name of the applicant, account number, and branch details.
4. Identity and Address Proof of the Applicant:
o Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or any other government-issued identity proof.
o Address proof such as utility bills (electricity, water, etc.) or bank statements.
5. Photographs of the Applicant:
Passport-sized photographs of the individual or authorized person applying for the IEC.
6. Partnership Deed/Company Registration Documents (if applicable):
o If applying for a partnership, the partnership deed.
o If applying for a company, the Certificate of Incorporation and Memorandum of Association (MOA) & Articles of Association (AOA).
